About the position DutiesConducts highway/road/street clearing and snow removal using medium and heavy vehicles and equipment (big plows) requiring a Class 3 license with air-brake endorsement; operates/controls multiple blades and salting mechanisms; and performs ancillary road maintenance and labour services for the Parks Canada Agency. Experience in the operation of road graders or the ability to be trained to an acceptable level of proficiency in grader operation by Parks Canada.ABILITIES:
Ability to identify equipment malfunctions, carry out minor maintenance and repairs, determine the cause and to effectively report them.
Ability to operate a backhoe, in a safe manner, to dig trenches.
