Lead Document Controller

Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Lead Document Controller to join our team! In this role you will get to lead project-wide document control and records management.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead, manage, and provide guidance and training to a team of Document Controllers.
• Oversee all project document control and records management activities in accordance with project and corporate requirements.
• Establish, implement, and continuously improve document control procedures, workflows, and standards.
• Manage and maintain Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS), ensuring efficient document control, tracking, and archiving.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, and stakeholders on document control processes and requirements.
• Lead the administration and coordination of electronic workflows and document management systems with service providers.
• Ensure the proper receipt, distribution, filing, retrieval, and retention of project documents and records.
• Coordinate document control training activities to ensure effective utilization of project systems and procedures.
• Generate periodic document control and performance reports for project management.
• Lead document control audits and support compliance reviews and process improvement initiatives.
• Monitor document control performance and recommend system and workflow enhancements.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's Degree or professional qualification in a technical or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in document control, records management, or project information management.
• Experience leading and supervising document control teams within engineering, construction, or infrastructure organizations.
• Strong experience with Aconex, Encompass, Citrix, or similar Electronic Document Management Systems.
• Experience with electronic workflow management, document tracking, archiving, and records retention processes.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a project environment.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Experience on rail, metro, transportation, or major infrastructure projects.
• Experience with Oracle Primavera Contract Manager (PCM).
• Advanced Aconex administration and workflow management experience.
• Experience supporting large-scale multidisciplinary engineering and construction projects.
• Knowledge of project controls, project delivery processes, and governance requirements.
