Your responsibilities:

  • Working from our headquarters in Germany, you participate in the development, improvement and implementation of optimal purchasing strategies and concepts. 

  • You negotiate prices and conditions with our suppliers and take care of implementing those. 

  • By carrying out extensive market observations, you are able to do the forward planning of purchased quantities, ensuring our inventory levels align with corporate policies and warehouse capacity.   

  • You will manage vendor relationships, reviewing of product ranges and provide recommendations for additions or deletions. 

  • Additionally, you coordinate overall purchasing activities, process provider reclamations and handle orders by using our ERP Forecast-System.

  • Furthermore, you will maintain purchasing data (e.g., product availability, vendor policy, costs) and assist in catalogue production by acquiring and updating product information. 

  You bring along:

  • You have successfully completed a commercial or technical training and already gained at least two years experience in purchasing technical products.

  • Technical understanding is mandatory for this position, as well as in-depth knowledge within the European Powersports market, preferably within the Apparel segment. 

  • You have good commercial knowledge alongside strong negotiation skills, assertiveness and a dedicated sense of cost-consciousness.

  • Excellent communication skills in English written and spoken are necessary for this position, additional languages are beneficial.

  • You have advanced knowledge of MS Office programs (especially Excel) and ERP systems, along with strong organizational and self-management skills.
