Pay: $24-$26/hour
Schedule: Full time
Setting: School-based services in Berlin
Clients: Children and young adults ages 2-21
Certification: RBT certification preferred; training is available for BT candidates
Help students build communication, independence, and daily living skills during the school day. You’ll provide one-to-one ABA support under the supervision of a licensed BCBA and work with school and clinical teams to follow each student’s plan.
What you’ll do
- Implement treatment goals and behavioral strategies developed by the supervising BCBA.
- Help students practice new skills and replacement behaviors identified in their plans.
- Support daily living and personal care routines, which may include toileting and hygiene.
- Collect data during sessions and complete required documentation.
- Communicate with the BCBA and school team about student progress.
- Attend required team meetings and training.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working with children.
- Reliable transportation and valid automobile insurance.
- The ability to follow individualized plans and document services accurately.
- Willingness to travel to assigned sites within the service area, which may be 15-60 minutes away.
- Reliable internet access for required remote meetings or documentation; a work iPad is provided.
Preferred qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in psychology, special education, or a related field; or an associate degree or two years of related undergraduate study.
- Comparable related work experience may be considered in place of a degree, depending on the assignment’s requirements.
- ABA experience or active RBT certification is highly preferred. Relevant experience and credentials will be considered when determining pay within the posted range.
