About the Role

At Pavago, one of our clients is hiring an experienced Full-Stack Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain modern web applications across frontend and backend systems.

This is a hands-on engineering role for someone comfortable working across the full development lifecycle - from building user-facing applications and backend services to designing APIs, working with databases, troubleshooting production issues, and supporting cloud deployments.

You’ll collaborate with product, design, and engineering stakeholders while using modern development practices and AI-assisted engineering tools to ship reliable, scalable software.

What You’ll Own

Full-Stack Application Development

• Develop and maintain frontend and backend applications
• Build scalable, reliable, and maintainable application features
• Translate product and technical requirements into working software
• Write clean, well-structured, and reusable code
• Improve existing applications as requirements evolve

Frontend Development

• Build responsive and user-friendly web interfaces
• Work with modern frontend frameworks and component-based architectures
• Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and services
• Troubleshoot frontend performance and functionality issues
• Collaborate with product and design stakeholders on implementation

Backend, APIs & Integrations

• Develop and maintain backend services and application logic
• Build APIs and integrations with third-party systems
• Design reliable data flows between applications and external platforms
• Troubleshoot integration and backend issues
• Ensure systems remain scalable and maintainable

Databases & Data Models

• Design and work with application databases and data models
• Work with SQL and/or NoSQL databases
• Maintain data integrity and application reliability
• Support database queries, application logic, and performance improvements

Testing, Debugging & Code Quality

• Troubleshoot bugs and production issues
• Implement testing and development best practices
• Participate in technical planning and code reviews
• Improve application reliability and maintainability
• Help identify technical issues before they affect users

Cloud, Deployment & Development Workflows

• Work with cloud infrastructure and deployment workflows
• Support application releases and production deployments
• Use Git and version-control best practices
• Contribute to reliable development and deployment processes

AI-Assisted Software Development

• Use modern AI development tools to improve engineering productivity
• Apply AI-assisted workflows to coding, debugging, research, and development
• Evaluate new AI development capabilities where they can improve execution
• Maintain strong engineering judgment while using AI-assisted tools

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong experience with at least one modern frontend framework
• Backend development experience using a modern programming language and/or framework
• Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases
• Hands-on experience building or integrating APIs
• Strong Git and version-control experience
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and deployment workflows
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Professional working English
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI-assisted development tools
• Experience building production-grade full-stack applications
• Experience with third-party API integrations
• Familiarity with automated testing and CI/CD workflows
• Experience working with cloud-native applications
