What You'll Be Doing

Deliver Outstanding Benefits Support

  • Manage health, wellbeing, retirement, life, disability, and voluntary benefit programs across the United States and Canada.
  • Guide employees through benefit elections, life events, eligibility changes, and benefit transitions.
  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for employee questions, ensuring a positive and supportive experience.

Lead Leave Administration Excellence

  • Coordinate employee leave programs, including family, medical, disability, parental, accommodation-related, and statutory leave provisions.
  • Partner closely with employees, vendors, and internal stakeholders throughout the leave lifecycle.
  • Ensure documentation, communications, and related benefit changes are managed accurately and compliantly.

Support Operational Excellence

  • Contribute to annual enrollment activities, employee education initiatives, and benefits communications.
  • Monitor data accuracy across systems and vendor platforms.
  • Maintain reporting, documentation, and operational processes that support a seamless employee experience.

Strengthen Data Integrity

  • Perform audits and reconciliations related to eligibility, enrollments, deductions, and vendor records.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in partnership with Payroll, HR Operations, and external providers.
  • Ensure employee information remains accurate, secure, and up to date.

Build Strong Partner Relationships

  • Collaborate with benefits and leave administration vendors to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Support invoice reviews and administrative processes.
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure accurate payroll and benefits outcomes.

Improve Knowledge & Communications

  • Maintain employee resources, FAQs, articles, and process documentation.
  • Develop clear and engaging communications related to benefits and operational updates.
  • Promote self-service tools and employee enablement resources.

Drive Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to simplify processes and create efficiencies.
  • Support enhancement initiatives that improve both employee experience and operational effectiveness.
  • Help shape scalable, sustainable benefits practices as Pax8 continues to grow.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who brings:

  • Demonstrated expertise administering employee benefit programs and leave management processes.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. benefits regulations and employee leave requirements.
  • Exposure to Canadian benefits administration is highly valued.
  • Working knowledge of employee benefits compliance requirements and relevant employment regulations.
  • Experience working with Workday or a comparable human resources information system.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate issues and identify practical solutions.
  • Advanced attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Proficiency using spreadsheets and reporting tools for audits, reconciliations, and analysis.
  • Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 USD
