Position: Application Support Engineer (L2 support)
Location: Makati, City
Job Type: Full-time
Work Set-up: Hybrid Set-up
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist L2 Application Support team members with complex inquiries and provide solutions.
- Perform minor code changes and updates to ensure platform stability and functionality.
- Respond to technical questions and concerns raised by clients and merchants in a timely manner.
- Understand the IT department's roles and capabilities to escalate unresolved issues to Level 3 support when necessary.
- Prepare and submit incident or investigation service reports as needed to document technical issues and resolutions.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of Paynamics products and services and propose innovative ways to improve business operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in a computer-related field.
- Any experience in technical support or merchant support roles.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel).
- Technical knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, XML, SOAP/REST APIs, relational/NoSQL databases, version control (Git), Postman, and Amazon Cloudwatch.
- Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., JIRA, FreshDesk).
- Detail-oriented, organized, problem-solving skills, and excellent English communication.
- Flexible for shifts, weekends, and a fast-paced environment.
