Accounts Payable - Deputy Manager

About the Role: We are looking for a person for Accounts Payable role who have an experience from a fintech company or any related entity and can Support the company in optimizing its financial transactions and systems, Strengthen and grow relationships with vendors and suppliers through timely payments, assist in streamlining and improving the accounts payable process and Exercise integrity and confidentiality in financial reporting.
Expectations/ Requirements:
1. Oversee the accounts payable department and ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and expense reports
2. Develop and maintain accounts payable policies and procedures
3. Ensure compliance with company policies, as well as local, state, and federal regulations
4. Monitor and analyze accounts payable processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
5. Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and finance, to ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices
6. Manage vendor relationships and resolve any issues or disputes related to payments or invoices
7. Prepare and analyze accounts payable reports, including aging reports, cash flow projections, and vendor performance metrics
8. Train and develop accounts payable staff, including setting performance goals and conducting performance evaluations
9. Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end close processes for accounts payable
10. Assist with audits and provide documentation and support as needed
Superpowers/ Skills that will help you succeed in this role:
1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable or related field
2. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
3. Experience with accounting software and ERP systems
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
5. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
6. Attention to detail and accuracy
7. Experience in managing a team of accounts payable professionals
8. Experience in process improvement and implementing best practices
9. Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements
10. Ability to analyze financial data and provide insights and recommendations
Education: CA/MBA
