Job role

• The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, neat, and welcoming office environment while also assisting with basic office tasks and errands when required.
• We are looking for a reliable and well-organized Office Assistant/Cleaner to support the smooth day-to-day running of the office.

Responsibilitiesa
Cleaning & Office Maintenance:

• Clean and maintain offices, workspaces, meeting rooms, reception areas, kitchen areas, and restrooms.
• Monitor cleaning supplies and inform the appropriate person when supplies need to be replenished.
• Keep the office kitchen and common areas clean and organized.
• Sweep, mop, dust, vacuum, and sanitize office areas regularly.
• Empty waste bins and ensure proper disposal of waste.
• Ensure the office environment remains clean, hygienic, and presentable throughout the day.
• Clean windows, doors, furniture, and other office surfaces as required.

Office Assistance:

• Assist with photocopying, filing, organizing documents, and other basic administrative tasks when required.
• Run occasional office errands as assigned.
• Assist with setting up meeting rooms and preparing spaces for meetings or events.
• Serve water, tea, coffee, or other refreshments when required.
• Support staff with other reasonable office-related duties.
• Assist with receiving and organizing office supplies and deliveries.

Qualifications

• Must be physically capable of carrying out routine cleaning and office-support duties.
• Minimum of an SSCE/WAEC or equivalent.
• Previous experience in office cleaning, housekeeping, office assistance, or a similar role is an advantage.
