Store Planner

Job Description

Refinery is currently looking for a Store Planner to join the support office planning team. We are seeking a proactive professional with strong numerical ability, sharp attention to detail, and a commercial mindset to make an immediate impact across our store network. As our Store Planner, you will play an important role in managing stock allocations and store distributions, helping the team optimise product flow and deliver on our sales and profit objectives.

Qualifications

• Matric and a relevant qualification in finance/Commerce/Accounting/Statistics/Cost and Management Accounting , or a related field.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• A minimum of 2 years sound experience in store planning within a retail environment.
• Knowledge of stock control and distribution.
• Knowledge of the retail merchandise cycle with regards to Buying.
• Advanced knowledge of Google suite.
• Knowledge of seasonal and non-seasonal replenishments.
• Information monitoring.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent Planning and Organising skills.
• Strong time management skills.
• Commercial understanding and merchant mindset.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Financial Acumen.
• High Attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the accurate distribution of seasonal stock as well as the seasonal and non-seasonal replenishment stock; to optimise sales.
• Deliver seasonal and non- seasonal replenishment profiles at the required product level and to supply inputs to the Seasonal Look for the required visual merchandising; all within the required time- frames.
• deliver a location plan that allows for the clustering of stores at the required product level.
• Assist stores in resolving any queries relating to stock and to analyse store performance and provide accurate and timeous information to optimise business decision making.
• Deliver New Store Plans to ensure that new stores are stocked to plan.
