System Support Engineer (Microsoft SharePoint / AWS / Microsoft Dynamics 365)

We are seeking a System Support Engineer to provide technical support, administration and consulting across Microsoft SharePoint, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Dynamics 365 environments. You will work with IT teams, business stakeholders and external vendors to resolve technical issues, maintain system availability and deliver solutions that support business requirements. The role requires strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical users.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support and administration for Microsoft SharePoint, AWS infrastructure and Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Investigate and resolve incidents, service requests and complex technical issues to minimise disruption to business operations.
• Analyse business and system requirements and recommend appropriate configurations, enhancements and technical solutions.
• Configure, deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure and enterprise applications in accordance with organisational standards.
• Monitor system availability, performance and capacity, and perform proactive maintenance and optimisation.
• Administer user access, permissions and security configurations across supported platforms.
• Support system migrations, upgrades, patching and integrations, including testing and post-implementation support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to troubleshoot issues and deliver system improvements.
• Conduct root-cause analysis for recurring incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain technical documentation, including configuration records, support procedures, troubleshooting guides and knowledge articles.
• Provide end-user training and guidance on system functionality and best practices.
• Follow established change management, IT security and operational procedures.

Requirements:

• Relevant experience in enterprise application support, systems administration or technical consulting.
• Hands-on experience administering, configuring and customising Microsoft SharePoint environments.
• Practical experience managing AWS services and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience configuring, implementing and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Good understanding of enterprise system architecture, application integrations and dependencies.
• Ability to diagnose complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Experience monitoring and improving system performance, availability and reliability.
• Knowledge of IT security principles, access controls and compliance requirements.
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple incidents, tasks and project priorities.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical matters clearly to business users.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

• Relevant AWS certification, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
• Relevant Microsoft Dynamics 365 certification.
• Relevant SharePoint credentials or equivalent demonstrated technical expertise.
• Experience with enterprise system migrations, upgrades and implementation projects.
• Experience coordinating technical projects, vendors and implementation activities.
