About Position:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in Golang and Microservices Architecture to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing scalable, high-performance, and secure applications that support complex global payment platforms. This role requires deep technical expertise in Golang, cloud-native development, distributed systems, API development, containerization, and infrastructure automation. The successful candidate will play a key role in architecting systems capable of handling massive transaction volumes with low latency while maintaining reliability, security, and operational excellence.

What You'll Do:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Golang for mission-critical transaction processing systems.
- Architect and build highly available distributed systems capable of processing large-scale transaction volumes with low latency.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and gRPC services for enterprise integration and service communication.
- Build cloud-native applications leveraging AWS services and containerized deployment models.
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, and engineering teams to define and implement technical solutions.
- Design and optimize microservices architectures focused on resiliency, scalability, and maintainability.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and modern DevOps toolchains.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Terraform, Ansible, and Infrastructure-as-Code principles.
- Establish observability, monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks to ensure operational excellence.
- Implement secure coding standards, PAM controls, authentication, authorization, and access governance mechanisms.
- Optimize application performance, throughput, and resource utilization.
- Design efficient database access patterns across relational and NoSQL databases.
- Participate in architecture reviews, design discussions, and technology evaluations.
- Conduct code reviews and enforce engineering best practices and coding standards.
- Troubleshoot production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical leadership initiatives.
Expertise You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- 10-15 years of software development experience with significant backend engineering expertise.
- Expert-level proficiency in Golang and enterprise application development.
- Strong understanding of concurrency, Goroutines, Channels, and Go performance optimization techniques.
- Deep expertise in Microservices Architecture and Distributed Systems design.
- Experience building high-performance REST APIs and gRPC services.
- Strong knowledge of Event-Driven Architecture and asynchronous messaging systems.
- Experience with cloud-native application development on AWS.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized application deployment.
- Expertise in service discovery, resilience patterns, scalability, and fault-tolerant architectures.
- Strong experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and DevOps automation frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Chef.
- Experience working with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and other enterprise database technologies.
- Knowledge of caching, performance tuning, database optimization, and scalability techniques.
- Understanding of cloud security, application security, and governance frameworks.
- Experience supporting production environments and critical business applications.
- Strong troubleshooting, monitoring, and performance engineering capabilities.
- Experience working in Agile and DevOps-driven organizations.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and leadership skills.
- Proven experience mentoring engineers and driving engineering excellence.
