About Position:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join the Provisioning and Deployment team responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and operational excellence of a global SaaS platform. This role focuses on developing automation solutions, managing deployment infrastructure, improving platform observability, and supporting large-scale cloud-native environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Python development, Kubernetes, Docker, distributed systems, and infrastructure automation. The role requires a balance of software engineering and operations expertise, enabling the organization to scale deployment and provisioning systems while maintaining high levels of availability and performance.

What You'll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks and operational tooling using Python.
• Build new capabilities to orchestrate and automate complex application and infrastructure deployments across multiple environments and regions.
• Develop and enhance provisioning systems supporting large-scale SaaS platform growth.
• Maintain and optimize deployment, scaling, and operational processes for infrastructure and database services.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, infrastructure, and database teams to understand requirements and deliver automation solutions.
• Partner with database administration teams to support provisioning, deployment, and operational improvements.
• Design and implement infrastructure automation and operational workflows to reduce manual intervention.
• Improve platform observability through monitoring, alerting, logging, metrics collection, and dashboard development.
• Support deployment pipelines and release management processes ensuring reliable service delivery.
• Troubleshoot performance issues, infrastructure bottlenecks, deployment failures, and production incidents.
• Participate in root-cause analysis and post-incident reviews to improve platform reliability.
• Implement reliability engineering practices including automation, resiliency testing, fault tolerance, and operational excellence.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, operational runbooks, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Mentor and guide engineers on Python development, automation frameworks, and SRE best practices.
• Participate in on-call rotations and provide support for critical production escalations.
• Collaborate effectively with globally distributed engineering and operations teams.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• 9?15 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Engineering, DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, or Operations Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience developing automation solutions using Python.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and large-scale production environments.
• Expertise in Docker and containerized application deployment.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes administration, deployment, and troubleshooting.
• Experience building and maintaining infrastructure automation frameworks.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, development life cycles, and operational best practices.
• Experience supporting and operating PostgreSQL databases in production environments.
• Good knowledge of Bash scripting and Linux system administration.
• Experience with Golang is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience implementing observability solutions including monitoring, logging, alerting, and performance analysis.
• Strong troubleshooting and incident-management skills.
• Experience supporting high-availability and mission-critical production systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and release management processes.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and root-cause analysis capabilities.
• Experience working with globally distributed teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple priorities.
