ROLE SUMMARY

  • Want to lead one of Oncology’s most exciting growth brands? Join our high-performing Oncology team as Senior Brand Manager, LORVIQUA, and take the commercial lead on a priority lung cancer brand with significant momentum and ambition. This fixed-term parental leave opportunity offers the chance to step into a pivotal role, lead an experienced cross-functional team and make a real impact for patients living with lung cancer.
  • As Senior Brand Manager, you will lead the Australian commercial strategy and execution for LORVIQUA (lorlatinib), working across a highly competitive and rapidly evolving lung cancer landscape. You will be responsible for maintaining momentum behind the brand, translating customer and market insights into clear priorities, and ensuring strong execution of the operating plan.
  • You will lead the LORVIQUA cross-functional team, partnering closely with Medical, Access & Value, Sales and other key functions to deliver against business objectives and budget expectations. You will also build meaningful relationships with external stakeholders, including KOLs, HCOs and PAGs. This role requires strong leadership, commercial acumen and scientific curiosity, combined with the ability to quickly step into an established brand and make an impact.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the LORVIQUA cross-functional team, ensuring clear priorities, strong collaboration and excellence in execution against the Australian brand strategy and operating plan.
  • Drive continued growth of LORVIQUA by translating customer, competitive and market insights into focused strategies and tactics that strengthen its position within the advanced NSCLC treatment landscape.
  • Lead execution across the integrated marketing mix, partnering closely with CoLab and relevant internal teams to deliver high-quality customer engagement and campaigns, while leveraging tools and platforms including GCMA, Adobe and Copilot to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Own the LORVIQUA operating plan, forecasts and performance monitoring, identifying opportunities and risks early and adapting plans where required.
  • Manage the direct marketing expense budget, using ROI and performance insights to optimise investment and resource allocation.
  • Build strong and meaningful relationships with external customers and stakeholders, including KOLs, HCOs and PAGs within the lung cancer community.
  • Partner closely with Medical, Access & Value, Sales and other functions to ensure an integrated approach to LORVIQUA strategy and execution.
  • Maintain strong awareness of the evolving lung cancer landscape, competitor activity, clinical data and customer needs, translating these into implications and actions for the brand.
  • Adhere strictly to Pfizer compliance policies and procedures, YRR requirements and the Medicines Australia Code of Conduct.
  • Contribute to a team culture that values high performance, collaboration, innovation, accountability and sharing of best practice.

QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate must possess the following:

  • Demonstrated pharmaceutical marketing experience, with the ability to develop and execute brand strategy in a complex healthcare environment. Oncology experience is highly desirable but not essential.
  • A university degree in Science, Health Science, Business or a related discipline.
  • Previous experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects, budgets and competing priorities would be highly regarded.

The ideal candidate demonstrates the following characteristics:

  • Collaboration: An inclusive and effective cross-functional leader who builds strong relationships, communicates clearly and creates shared ownership for outcomes.
  • Prioritisation: Able to quickly identify the activities that will have the greatest impact on brand performance and focus resources accordingly.
  • Accountability: A proactive self-starter who takes ownership, delivers against commitments and can operate effectively with a high degree of autonomy.
  • Learning Agility: Able to rapidly build understanding of LORVIQUA, the underlying science, the NSCLC treatment landscape and key commercial drivers, enabling them to contribute quickly in a fixed-term role.
  • Strategic Thinking: Able to connect customer and market insights with commercial strategy, while balancing near-term execution with longer-term brand opportunities.
  • Decision Making: Demonstrates sound judgement, uses data and insights to make timely decisions, and is comfortable navigating ambiguity and adapting plans as circumstances evolve.
