Content Marketing Manager

Phasecraft is the quantum algorithms company. We develop ultra-efficient quantum algorithms that make today’s quantum computers useful for real world impacts. Founded in 2019 by Toby Cubitt, Ashley Montanaro, and John Morton, we are based in London and Bristol in the UK and Arlington, VA in the US, led by Steve Flammia. In 2025 we completed a $34m Series B funding round co-led by Plural, existing investor Playground Global, and Novo Holdings’ Quantum Fund in its first direct quantum software investment.

Phasecraft’s unprecedented access to today’s best quantum computers - through partnerships with Google, IBM, Quantinuum and QuEra - provides us with unique opportunities to develop foundational IP, inform the development of next-generation quantum hardware, and accelerate the commercialisation of high-value breakthroughs.

We're looking for a Content marketing manager to join our growing Marketing and Communications team. This is a unique opportunity for a natural storyteller with a deep-tech or scientific background. Working closely with our VP of Communications you'll get to dig in on quantum algorithms and the people behind them helping to craft narratives and compelling content that engage the global tech community and our industry partners.

What you’ll do

Editorial

• Turn complex topics into accessible content across various channels and audiences, keeping it rooted in scientific credibility.
• Write across formats with a consistent voice for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Maintain our editorial calendar, keeping content aligned with company milestones and industry moments.

Digital Channels

• Evolve and execute Phasecrafts multi-channel content strategy.
• Produce content for all formats: social posts, videos, blogs and more.
• Day-to-day updates across our website and social channels (LinkedIn, X).

Planning and Coordination

• Track content performance and use the data to evolve our strategy.
• Stay plugged into quantum and deep-tech news to support ongoing content flow.
• Maintain a well-organized library of all content and multimedia assets.

Requirements

Essential Criteria

• Proven track record of translating complex, highly technical concepts into engaging, accessible narratives.
• Experience working directly with scientists, researchers or highly technical subject-matter experts to uncover stories, challenge and clarify ideas, and turn their work into engaging external content.
• A strong portfolio of published content across multiple formats, ideally including long-form articles and blogs, thought leadership, social content, technical explainers and multimedia/video.
• Strong digital and social experience, particularly managing and growing B2B and technology audiences through LinkedIn, websites and other relevant channels.

Desirable Criteria

• Academic or professional background in a deep-tech, engineering, or scientific field.
• Experience communicating published research, scientific papers or technical breakthroughs to wider audiences
