This is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as an R&D Approbation Engineer in Apodaca, Nuevo Leon with Signify.
Develops and validates engineering solutions to meet regulatory and quality standards. Coordinates cross-functional teams to ensure compliance throughout the product lifecycle.
What you’ll do
- Designs and implements testing protocols to verify product safety and efficacy.
- Collaborates with regulatory bodies to obtain necessary approvals and certifications.
- Analyzes technical documentation to ensure alignment with industry standards. Provides technical support during audits and inspections.
- Monitors ongoing compliance and recommends improvements as needed.
- Leads risk assessments and mitigation planning for engineering projects. Prepares detailed reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Responsible for any New and existing product certification compliance to Certification entities as UL/ETL/DLC/Energy star/etc
More about you
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a closely related technical discipline with a specialized focus on product safety protocols and regulatory compliance standards.
Experience in product testing, regulatory compliance, and risk assessment within a research and development environment, demonstrating ability to manage and evaluate product approval processes effectively.
Certification in quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) or regulatory affairs certification relevant to product approval processes.
Desired experience with certification entities such as UL/ETL/DLC/Energy star
Experience on New Product Development Launches processes
Excellent communication in English is a must
