Job Summary
Leads end-to-end supply chain milestones in NPDL projects for NPI from concept to maturity. Oversees the entire process to ensure successful product introduction.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Coordinates with suppliers, procurement, engineering, design, marketing, and logistics partners to ensure that products are delivered on time and within budget.
- Tracks and reports supply chain performance during product phase in/phase out.
- Implements supply chain strategies to minimize costs and improve efficiency during product phase in/phase out.
- Proposes product pruning to Product Managers to maintain a healthy portfolio.
- Maintains baseline forecast for NPI and PIPO and monitors sales development vs. BC.
- Identifies and mitigates risks that could impact project timelines and/or budgets.
- Minimizes excess inventory and obsolescence risk during product discontinuations.
- Monitors inventory ramp-up to ensure sufficient stock during product introductions.
- Manages Supply Chain Master Data related to new products to ensure smooth execution and data accuracy.
- Manage the NPI population (training, coaching, standardization, processes adjustments, performance monitoring)
- Ensures cross-functional alignment to support project goals and objectives.
- Develops and maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders to support NPI projects.
Critical Experiences
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on new product introduction and lifecycle management.
- APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or similar certification is an advantage
