Phoenix Home Care & Hospice is seeking an experienced and compassionate On-Call Registered Nurse to support our Overland Park hospice team. This role is essential to delivering timely, skilled, and meaningful end-of-life care in patients’ homes-exactly when they and their families need it most. If you thrive in autonomous nursing, value connection, and want your work to truly matter, this position stands out.

Requirements

• Active Missouri or Compact RN License
• Minimum 1 year of hospice experience required
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication and organization skills

Responsibilities

• Respond to patient and family needs
• Complete routine and as-needed home visits
• Triage urgent situations and manage symptoms
• Collaborate with physicians and the hospice team
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation
