We are looking for a Chemical Process Specialist to develop, scale up and support manufacturing processes for high-purity materials used in microelectronics. In this hands-on role, you will bridge R&D and production by turning laboratory-scale processes into safe, robust and reproducible pilot- and production-scale operations. You will take technical ownership of process equipment and improvement projects, working closely with R&D, production, quality and external equipment suppliers. To succeed in this role, you should have a practical approach to problem-solving and enjoy taking projects from concept to implementation.

Your tasks will include:

  • Lead the scale-up and transfer of polymerizationprocesses from laboratory to pilot and production scale.

  • Develop, optimize and troubleshoot polymer purification processes, including precipitation, filtration, washing, solvent exchange and solvent handling.

  • Define requirements for process equipment and coordinate supplier selection, procurement, installation and commissioning of reactors, filters, pumps and associated systems.

  • Plan and perform equipment qualification, process trials and cleaning or contamination-control studies.

  • Prepare and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), operating instructions, process documentation and preventive maintenance plans.

  • Provide hands-on technical support to manufacturing, including troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, process improvements and operator training.

  • Define and monitor critical process parameters, and use process and analytical data to improve product quality, consistency and efficiency.

  • Evaluate process safety, equipment compatibility and operating risks together with relevant technical and safety personnel.

  • Collaborate with R&D, production and quality teams to introduce new processes and support reliable routine manufacturing.

  • Coordinate technical projects and communicate with equipment suppliers, external partners and international manufacturing sites.

Desired skills and abilities:

  • MSc in chemical engineering, process engineering, chemistry or a related technical field.

  • Practical experience in chemical process development, scale-up, pilot-scale operations or industrial manufacturing.

  • Understanding of chemical unit operations such as mixing, pumping, filtration, separation, distillation and temperature control.

  • Ability to take responsibility for technical projects, from defining requirements to testing and implementation.

  • Systematic approach to process troubleshooting, experimental work and analysis of process data.

  • Good understanding of safe chemical handling and process safety principles.

  • Strong technical documentation skills, including operating instructions, test plans and reports.

  • Good collaboration, problem-solving and communication skills, including professional English.

  • Ability to work independently and manage changing priorities in both laboratory and production environments.

Preferred experience:

  • Experience with polymers, solvents, high-viscosity liquids, precipitation, filtration or other purification methods.

  • Experience in process equipment design, commissioning, qualification,or instrumentation.

  • Familiarity with high-purity manufacturing, contamination control, trace-metal analysis or semiconductor materials.

  • Experience collaborating with international equipment suppliers or manufacturing sites.

We offer:

  • Rewarding and challenging position with real possibilities to create enabling materials for next generation semiconductors and displays.

  • Supportive colleagues and an international business environment.

  • A great opportunity to be a part of one of the fastest growing companies in its field.

  • Excellent career development opportunities.

  • Dynamic atmosphere and inspirational lean organization.

  • An employer who invests in wellbeing of its employees.
