Why This Role

As we scale rapidly, our people operations need to grow faster than our headcount - without adding more manual work. You will own the core of HR operations - contract renewals, attendance, payroll-related procedures, and org chart management - and rebuild them with talent management tools and AI so that our HR team can spend its time on people, not paperwork.This role is not about keeping existing processes running. It is about redesigning them to improve efficiency.

What You'll Do

1. Core HR Operations

- Manage employment contract renewals end to end - tracking deadlines, preparing documents, and coordinating with managers and employees

- Oversee attendance and time management, ensuring accuracy and compliance

- Handle payroll-related procedures with managing payroll system and in collaboration with external labor-law partners

- Maintain an always-up-to-date org chart and employee master data as the team grows

1. 人事オペレーションの推進

- 雇用契約更新の一連の業務（期限管理、書類作成、マネージャー・社員との調整）

- 勤怠管理の運用と、正確性・コンプライアンスの担保

- 給与計算システムの運用・社労士と連携した給与関連手続き

- 組織の成長に合わせた組織図・従業員マスタデータの管理

2. Process Redesign with Talent Management Tools

- Take ownership of our talent management / HR tech tools and get the most out of them

- Map current workflows, spot bottlenecks and duplicated work, and redesign processes around the tools

- Build a single source of truth for employee data that the whole company can rely on

2. タレントマネジメントツールを活用した業務改善

- タレントマネジメント／HRテックツールのオーナーとして、機能を最大限に活用する

- 現状の業務フローを可視化し、ボトルネックや重複作業を見つけ、ツール起点で業務を再設計する

- 全社が信頼できる「唯一の正しい従業員データ」を整備する

3. Automating Routine Work with AI

- Identify repetitive tasks - reminders, document drafting, data entry, inquiries - and automate them using AI and no-code tools

- Run small experiments quickly, measure the time saved, and scale what works

- Share know-how with the team so that automation becomes part of how we work, not a one-off project

3. AIによるルーティン業務の自動化

- リマインド、書類作成、データ入力、社内問い合わせ対応などの定型業務を洗い出し、AIやノーコードツールで自動化する

- 小さく素早く試し、削減できた時間を測り、効果のあるものを広げていく

- ノウハウをチームに共有し、自動化を一過性のプロジェクトではなく「当たり前の働き方」にする

4. Cross-Team Collaboration

- Work closely with the HR team, managers, Finance etc.

- Communicate in English for global coordination and documentation

- 人事チーム、各部門のマネージャー、経理等と密に連携

- グローバルとの調整やドキュメント作成は英語で対応

Requirements

Must-have

- Hands-on experience improving operations with talent management or HR tech tools (e.g., SmartHR, HRMOS, Workday, BambooHR, or similar) - from configuration to rollout

- Experience automating routine work with AI or no-code tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Google Apps Script, Zapier, Make, Power Automate, or similar)

- Native-level Japanese and business-level English (written communication and documentation)

Nice-to-have

- Experience in HR operations such as contract management, attendance, payroll-related procedures, or org chart management

- Knowledge of Japanese labor laws and social insurance procedures

- Experience working in a startup or a global company

- Experience in HRBP, employee relations, engagement surveys, or culture-building initiatives
