Production Manager

An established manufacturing operation in Stellenbosch needs a hands-on Production Manager to keep assembly lines running smoothly, production targets on track and people performing at their best. Duties & Responsibilities What you'll be doing

• Leading multiple production lines through a team of Line Supervisors.
• Motivating, developing and positively influencing production teams.
• Driving production output, productivity and efficiency.
• Keeping costs under control without compromising quality.
• Building a culture of accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement.
• Ensuring safety, quality and regulatory standards are maintained.
• Solving problems, removing bottlenecks and keeping production on track.

What you'll need

• At least 2–3 years' relevant production experience, ideally including team leadership or management.
• A technical or mechanical qualification.
• A solid understanding of manufacturing and production principles.
• The ability to lead, motivate and positively influence people at all levels.
• Confidence managing supervisors and larger production teams.
• A practical, solutions-focused approach and a genuine passion for being on the production floor.
• Exposure to Lean Manufacturing or regulated manufacturing environments would be an advantage.
• A long-term mindset and a genuine interest in growing with the business.

The proposed salary for the role is R30k - R40k per month - the final offer will depend on qualifications, experience and skills. Package & Remuneration R 30000 - R 40000 - Monthly
