We are seeking a Vice President, Americas Solutions Engineering to lead, scale, and inspire our regional presales organization. In this executive role, you will partner closely with Sales, Product, and Marketing to turn our vision-Any User, Any Experience, One Platform-into measurable customer outcomes. You will act as both an operational leader and a prominent market voice, shaping how enterprise organizations secure and govern identity in an AI-driven world.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Operations

• Lead, mentor, and grow a diverse, high-performing Americas Solutions Engineering team across enterprise, commercial, and strategic account segments.
• Define the regional SE strategy, resource allocation model, and operational rhythms to support pipeline growth, win rates, and customer retention.
• Foster an inclusive, continuous-learning culture that prioritizes technical excellence, psychological safety, and career growth.

Revenue & Field Partnership

• Serve as a co-pilot to Americas Sales leadership, aligning technical strategy directly with revenue goals and close plans.
• Elevate the quality and speed of discovery, architectural design, proofs-of-concept, and executive presentations.
• Establish repeatable technical sales plays for key growth areas, including AI governance, Verified Trust, Workforce/Customer IAM, and fraud prevention.

Market Thought Leadership & Customer Engagement

• Engage directly with CISOs, CIOs, and technology executives as a trusted advisor on digital transformation and AI security.
• Champion Ping’s vision at industry events, executive briefings, and analyst forums.
• Synthesize field insights and customer feedback to directly inform Product Management and Engineering roadmaps.

What You Bring

• People-First Leadership: Proven success leading, coaching, and scaling distributed technical sales or solutions engineering teams in complex enterprise environments.
• Domain Expertise: Deep knowledge of Cybersecurity, Identity & Access Management (IAM), Cloud Architecture, or API security, along with a strong grasp of how AI impacts modern security models.
• Commercial Acumen: Demonstrated track record of partnering with Sales leaders to drive revenue, increase deal velocity, and navigate complex enterprise buying cycles.
• Executive Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, value-driven business narratives for C-suite audiences.
• Inclusive Mindset: A strong commitment to building diverse teams, inviting broad perspectives, and supporting equitable career development.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in SaaS platform sales across Workforce, Customer (CIAM), or Governance domains.
• Familiarity with hybrid/cloud architectures, microservices, and AI-driven workflows.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

Salary Range: $211,622 - $289,750 + Commission

In accordance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) the approximate compensation range for this role in Colorado is listed above. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors, such as knowledge, skills, and abilities.
