Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Product Manager to lead the strategy, design, and delivery of next-generation compliance technology solutions across traditional payments, digital assets, stablecoins, and AI-enabled compliance capabilities.

This role sits at the intersection of Compliance, Product and Technology driving the development of platforms that enable scalable compliance controls while supporting business growth and innovation. The successful candidate will possess deep expertise in Financial Crime Compliance (AML, Sanctions, KYC, Transaction Monitoring), strong knowledge of Crypto and Stablecoin ecosystems, and a passion for leveraging Artificial Intelligence to transform compliance operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Strategy & Ownership:

• Define and execute the product vision, roadmap, and strategy for Compliance Technology platforms.
• Drive product innovation across AML, Sanctions Screening, Customer Due Diligence, Transaction Monitoring, Case Management, and Regulatory Reporting.
• Develop scalable compliance solutions supporting both traditional payment rails and digital asset ecosystems.
• Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities for automation, operational efficiency, and risk reduction.

Financial Crime Compliance:

• Translate regulatory requirements into product features and technical capabilities.
• Design and enhance controls supporting:
  • AML/CFT
  • Sanctions Screening
  • KYC/KYB & Customer Due Diligence
  • Transaction Monitoring
  • Enhanced Due Diligence
  • Regulatory Reporting
  • Case Management & Investigations
• Collaborate with Compliance Operations teams to optimise alert management and investigation workflows.

Crypto & Stablecoin Compliance:

• Lead compliance technology initiatives supporting stablecoin-enabled payment products and digital asset ecosystems.
• Design controls for:
  • Blockchain analytics
  • Wallet screening
  • On-chain transaction monitoring
  • Travel Rule compliance
  • Crypto onboarding and risk assessment
  • Stablecoin transaction monitoring
• Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to embed compliance controls within digital asset products and services.
• Evaluate emerging regulatory frameworks and assess impacts on product and technology strategies.

AI & Emerging Technologies:

• Champion the application of AI, Generative AI, Machine Learning, and Intelligent Automation across compliance programs.
• Develop AI governance, explainability, and model oversight requirements in partnership with Compliance and Risk teams.
• Evaluate AI vendors and emerging technologies to strengthen compliance capabilities.

Technical Product Delivery:

• Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and user stories.
• Work closely with architects and engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure, and resilient solutions.
• Lead integrations with internal platforms and external providers.
• Manage product backlogs, prioritisation, UAT, production validation, and release planning.
• Leverage data analytics to identify trends, improve performance, and enable data-driven decisions.

Stakeholder Leadership:

• Serve as the primary liaison between Compliance, Product, Technology, Operations, Risk, and Commercial teams.
• Lead requirement workshops, design reviews, and governance forums.
• Influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment across global teams.
• Present strategy, roadmap progress, and key decisions to executives and leadership teams.

Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Finance, Compliance, or related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in Product Management, Compliance Technology, FinTech, Payments, or Financial Services.
• Deep understanding of:
  • AML/CFT frameworks
  • Sanctions Compliance
  • Customer Due Diligence
  • Transaction Monitoring
  • Financial Crime Investigations
• Experience delivering enterprise-scale compliance technology solutions.
• Strong knowledge of payments, money movement, and fintech ecosystems.
• Experience working within Agile product delivery environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Crypto, Digital Assets, Stablecoins, Blockchain Analytics, or Travel Rule solutions.
• Knowledge of stablecoin regulatory frameworks and compliance controls.
• Experience implementing AI/ML-enabled compliance solutions.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, APIs, data architecture, and system integrations.
• Knowledge of ISO 20022, ISO 8583, and modern payment architectures.
