Account Manager

• Identify, prospect and secure new clients to drive business growth and increase market share.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key business-to-business customers and mass retail accounts.
• Identify decision-makers and develop effective sales approaches, proposals and presentations.
• Introduce new products and services while identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts.
• Explore new markets, customer segments and distribution channels to maximise revenue.
• Develop new sales channels in line with product launches and business objectives.
• Monitor market trends, customer needs and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal sales, marketing and other departments to deliver effective sales strategies.
• Manage customer commitments and communicate changes in demand to relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate stock management information and rolling sales forecasts.
• Monitor account performance and consistently work towards achieving sales targets.

• A degree in Marketing, Business or a related field, or equivalent relevant business experience.
• Proven track record of sales success and business development.
• Experience in business-to-business sales.
• Experience managing mass retail customers and accounts.
• Strong product knowledge and an understanding of consumer market trends.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Strong negotiation, relationship-building and commercial skills.
• Good computer literacy and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• A proactive, achievement-driven approach with the ability to adapt to changing market conditions.
