GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Graphic Design & Brand Consistency

• Design and layout posters, flyers, point-of-sale displays, vouchers, product catalogues, mailers and company documents.
• Create social media artwork, website images, event branding, vehicle branding and branded promotional items.
• Apply and maintain corporate identity guidelines across all designs.

• Design product packaging according to supplied die-lines and prepare print-ready artwork.
• Liaise with printers, provide production briefs and manage printing requirements.
• Review and approve samples, proofs and final artwork before production.

• Coordinate product photo shoots and take basic product photographs.
• Retouch, deep-etch and prepare images for websites, social media, advertisements and printed material.
• Source suitable imagery for marketing projects.

• Manage Facebook and Instagram accounts and publish engaging content.
• Develop creative concepts for social media posts and campaigns.
• Respond professionally to customer comments, queries and complaints.

• Design weekly retail advertisements and prepare artwork for newspaper publication.
• Coordinate advertising submissions with newspapers and media companies.
• Check pricing, product information and advertising details for accuracy before publication.

• At least 4 years’ experience in graphic design, print and media.
• A minimum of 4 years’ experience using each of the following: Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
• Strong design, desktop publishing (DTP), layout and print-production skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accurate, high-quality work.
• Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to take initiative, prioritise competing tasks and work effectively under pressure.
• Willingness to work full-time from the office in Paarl. This is not a freelance position.
