Playtech is a gambling technology company founded in Estonia in 1999 that supplies the software behind online casino, live dealer, bingo and sports betting operations worldwide. Its business model is unusual in the sector: rather than only licensing software for a fee, it takes revenue share from many operators and holds direct stakes in some of them, which ties its earnings to how well its customers trade. Registered in the Isle of Man and listed in London, it runs large live dealer studios in Latvia and the Philippines and has been expanding into regulated American states.

Playtech is seeking an experienced Operations Compliance Manager to support our U.S. Live Casino. This role will work closely with Compliance, Product, and Operations teams to ensure adherence to gaming regulations, strengthen internal controls, and support our live dealer operations.

The Operations Compliance Manager will be part of the U.S. Regulatory Compliance team, working closely with U.S. Licensing, Compliance, Operations, Product, and Project Management teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements across our Live Casino operations. The role is supported by Playtech's wider global Compliance team.

This position requires a strong understanding of land-based casino operations and iGaming regulatory compliance, with a focus on bridging traditional casino practices with live dealer operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in monitoring regulatory compliance, developing internal controls, and supporting operational best practices.

The position is based in the United States, with Eastern Time availability and flexibility required. Travel to Playtech's U.S. studios, as well as occasional international travel, may be required.

  • Internal Controls: Develop, review, and maintain internal controls and operational procedures for live casino games, including table games and wheel games.

  • Live Casino Operations: Monitor regulatory compliance across live dealer studios, applying land-based casino knowledge and best practices to live gaming environments.

  • Regulatory Relationships: Establish and maintain effective working relationships with state gaming regulators and relevant regulatory departments.

  • Project Support: Partner with Project Management and Product teams to support new market launches, product introductions, and operational initiatives.

  • Process Improvement: Identify, document, and improve compliance processes, including certification, release management, change management, and incident reporting.

  • Audits and Risk Assessments: Support regulatory audits, risk assessments, and the monitoring of corrective actions.

  • Reporting and Collaboration: Prepare compliance reports, communicate regulatory updates, and collaborate with internal teams to address compliance matters.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of experience in a technical compliance role within the gambling industry.

  • Strong experience in U.S. land-based casino operations or live dealer operations, with knowledge of casino table games and operational procedures.

  • Experience working with state gaming regulators and independent testing laboratories.

  • In-depth knowledge of online casino gaming and sports betting.

Essential Skills

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into operational procedures and technical specifications.

  • Results-driven and delivery-oriented approach.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments and meet tight deadlines.

  • Comfortable managing change and multiple projects simultaneously.
