About the role

Plentific is growing, and so is the number of teams who need clear, reliable data to make decisions. We're hiring a Data & Strategy Analyst to help teams across the business make better data led decisions. You'll turn commercial questions into the right KPIs, dashboards and insights.

This is a Commercial role. You'll sit in the Supply Chain team and work with Customer Excellence, Supply Chain Delivery, Go-to-Market and the leadership teams, alongside Data Engineering. Data Engineering builds and models the data. Your job is to understand what the business needs, pick the right measures and give teams answers they can act on. You'll also use AI in your daily work to get to insight faster and cut down on manual reporting.

What you'll do

  • Build and own a KPI framework. For each team, work out which KPIs matter, agree clear definitions and keep them consistent so everyone works from one version of the truth.

  • Build dashboards in Looker. Turn existing data into clear, well-designed dashboards for areas such as transactional revenue, contractor supply and performance, and client health.

  • Build predictive workflows. Move teams from looking back to looking ahead. Use trends and leading indicators to flag issues early, such as contractor capacity gaps, at-risk clients or slowing job volumes, and build them into workflows and alerts so teams act before problems land.

  • Identify and size growth opportunities. Spot where we can grow, such as clients with headroom, under-used services, regions with unmet demand or gaps in supply with a clear recommendation and next step.

  • Run commercial analysis. Carry out ad-hoc and strategic deep dives for business cases, board and leadership packs, client reviews and commercial decisions.

  • Work with Data Engineering. When the business needs new data fields or models, turn that need into a clear requirement for the team.

  • Use AI to explore data. Draft insights and speed up analysis, and apply the judgement and checks that keep the output accurate.

What success looks like in your first 6 months

  • An agreed, documented KPI set for Supply Chain Delivery and Customer Excellence teams.

  • Used data to map a core process end to end, find where it breaks down, and redesign it to improve the team's performance

  • Core dashboards live and used by those teams in their regular reviews

What we're looking for

  • 4-5 years experience in a data, business intelligence, commercial analyst or strategy analyst role

  • Strong hands-on business intelligence tool experience (Looker is preferred), including building dashboards and explores from modelled data

  • A commercial mindset. You can take a vague business question, work out what's really being asked and choose the metrics that answer it.

  • A track record of turning insight into change. You've used data to redesign a process, shape a decision or unlock revenue, not only to report on what happened.

  • Confidence working with stakeholders at every level, from operational teams to senior leadership, including challenging requests and managing priorities

  • Clear communication. You can present data as a story, not just a chart.

  • Well organised, able to juggle requests from several teams at once

Nice to have

  • Experience in B2B SaaS, marketplace, property or housing businesses

  • Background in strategy, consulting or operations-focused roles

  • Familiarity with SaaS KPIs such as ARR, NRR, ARPU, NPS and transactional or marketplace KPIs such as GMV, take rate, conversion and supply/demand balance

  • Basic SQL knowledge

Benefits

As you can see, we are quickly progressing with our ambitious plans and are eager to grow our team of doers to achieve our vision of managing over 2 million properties through our platform across various countries. You can help us shape the future of property management across the globe. Here’s what we offer:

  • A competitive compensation package

  • 25 days annual holiday + 1 additional day for every year served up to 3 years.

  • Flexible working environment including the option to work abroad

  • Private health care for you and immediate family members with discounted gym membership, optical, dental and private GP

  • Enhanced parental leave

  • Life insurance (4x salary)

  • Employee assistance program

  • Company volunteering day and charity salary sacrifice scheme

  • Learning management system powered by Udemy

  • Referral bonus and charity donation if someone you introduce joins the company

  • Season ticket loan, Cycle to work, Electric vehicle and Tech scheme programs

  • Pension scheme

  • Work abroad scheme

  • Company-sponsored lunches, dinners and social gatherings

  • Fully stocked kitchen with drinks, snacks, fruit, breakfast cereal etc.
