CRM Specialist

Our client, a premier global professional services and legal network, is seeking a CRM Specialist. This role acts as a trusted advisor and technical operator for core marketing platforms, campaign automation, and data governance.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Technology Advisory & Strategy

• Martech SME: Serve as a subject matter expert on marketing technology architectures, automation tools, and operational workflows (specifically Marketo and Cvent).
• Cross-Functional Alignment: Connect Business Development Operations with global stakeholders, embedding platform best practices, solving technical bottlenecks, and conducting onboarding for new team members.
• Platform Enhancement: Translate business priorities into user stories and technical platform requirements, supporting feature upgrades, platform connectivity, and tool adoption.

Email Campaign Operations & Event Automation

• Campaign Execution: Build, test, and launch complex email campaigns, multi-touch automation sequences, and event workflows using Marketo and Cvent.
• Quality Assurance (QA): Perform rigorous QA testing on email rendering, link validation, device compatibility, dynamic content, and personalization fields.
• Performance Analytics: Monitor campaign delivery, open/click-through rates, and engagement metrics, surfacing actionable insights to optimize future marketing communications.

Data Quality, Governance & Compliance

• Data Integrity: Centralize and structure marketing data sets, maintaining clean contact databases, distribution lists, and interaction records across CRM systems.
• Privacy Compliance: Enforce international data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) across all campaign lists, subscription preferences, and consent frameworks.

Change Management & Enablement

• Process Enablement: Support the rollout of new operating models by coaching and up-skilling M&BD team members on system updates and standard operating procedures.
• Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance user adoption, and improve operational productivity.

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Information Technology, Business Administration, or equivalent practical experience.
• Professional Background: Proven experience in marketing operations, marketing technology, or digital campaign management roles.
• Domain Context: Experience within a global law firm, professional services, or corporate shared services center is an advantage.

Technical & Functional Skills

• Platform Mastery: Advanced hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms (Marketo or similar) and event management technologies (Cvent).
• Core Competencies: Strong command of campaign management, list segmentation, CRM lifecycle principles, and multi-channel digital communications.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Solid understanding of global data privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA).
• Technical Advantages (Nice to Have):
  • Working knowledge of web/email coding languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or SQL).
  • Data visualization, data storytelling, and UI/UX design principles.
