Salesforce Solution Architect - Senior Manager

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager - Salesforce Consulting to lead the design and delivery of complex Salesforce solutions for client engagements. This senior-level role combines Salesforce solution leadership, client advisory, team management, technical governance, and business development responsibilities.

The successful candidate will work closely with clients and stakeholders to understand business challenges, translate requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions, and guide teams through implementation and deployment. The role requires strong Salesforce expertise, consulting experience, sound judgment, and the ability to lead teams and client conversations in complex and evolving environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Salesforce Solution Leadership
• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of complex Salesforce solutions aligned with client requirements and business objectives.
• Provide strategic and technical guidance throughout the Salesforce solution lifecycle.
• Evaluate business and technical challenges using a holistic approach and recommend practical, scalable solutions.
• Apply Salesforce leading practices to support solution quality, maintainability, performance, and user experience.
• Provide expertise across Salesforce applications, including relevant Salesforce Industry Clouds.
• Support the design and implementation of complex Salesforce and nCino solutions.
• Review technical designs and code to help ensure adherence to established engineering and quality standards.

Client & Stakeholder Advisory

• Serve as a senior advisor to clients and stakeholders on Salesforce-related business and technology challenges.
• Lead and facilitate client discussions to understand requirements, priorities, pain points, and desired business outcomes.
• Communicate complex technical and business concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Present recommendations and alternative approaches, incorporating client feedback into solution decisions.
• Validate delivered solutions and outcomes against agreed client needs and expectations.
• Maintain a strong focus on both client experience and end-user experience throughout solution delivery.
• Delivery, Deployment & Technical Governance
• Guide teams through complex Salesforce implementations and delivery challenges.
• Support and oversee deployment pipelines and production releases.
• Participate in code reviews and provide technical oversight for production deployments.
• Use SQL and SOQL to support solution development, analysis, and troubleshooting as required.
• Promote appropriate technical, professional, quality, and governance standards throughout project delivery.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and delivery issues and determine when escalation or corrective action is required.

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, coach, and develop high-performing consulting and delivery teams.
• Provide clear direction while enabling team members to operate effectively in complex or ambiguous situations.
• Conduct constructive coaching conversations and provide actionable feedback across different levels of the organization.
• Address issues that may affect team performance, collaboration, or delivery outcomes.
• Encourage continuous learning and development to keep the team's Salesforce capabilities aligned with evolving industry practices.
• Business Development & Continuous Improvement
• Participate in business development activities that contribute to organizational growth.
• Apply Salesforce expertise and market knowledge to support client opportunities and solution discussions.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities for process, technology, and operational improvement.
• Promote continuous improvement across Salesforce delivery practices and client engagements.
• Maintain current knowledge of Salesforce capabilities, industry trends, and relevant implementation practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• 10-15 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong oral and written English communication skills.
• Extensive experience delivering and solutioning complex Salesforce implementations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead client-facing discussions and facilitate conversations involving complex business and technical requirements.
• Strong ability to assess client needs from an end-to-end or holistic perspective.
• Proven experience managing teams and providing leadership across complex engagements.
• Preferred / Differentiating Experience

Candidates with the following experience will be particularly relevant:

• Hands-on experience designing or solutioning complex Salesforce and nCino implementations.
• Experience working with Salesforce Industry Clouds.
• Knowledge and experience with deployment pipelines.
• Experience conducting code reviews and supporting production deployments.
• Ability to build and work with SQL and SOQL queries.
• Strong understanding of client and end-user experience when designing Salesforce solutions.
• Demonstrated experience proactively managing teams and delivery responsibilities.
• Experience contributing to business development activities.
