PMG

PMG is a leading independent advertising agency and platform company engineered for impact—uniting strategy, media, data, creative, and technology to drive modern marketing and measurable business growth.

We are PMG

PMG, a global independent platform company engineered for impact, integrates business strategy, media, creative, and data within a single operating model powered by our proprietary operating system, Alli. With more than 1,000 employees, PMG partners with brands including Apple, Nike, Dropbox, Experian, Sephora, and Whole Foods. Our work has earned top industry honors, including Cannes Lions and Adweek’s Media Plan of the Year, and PMG has won 40+ workplace culture awards, including being the only company to rank among Ad Age’s Best Places to Work for 11 consecutive years.

Who You Will Be Working With

As PMG's video investment footprint continues to expand across Linear TV, Streaming, CTV, Digital Video, Social Video, Premium Content Partnerships, Live Sports, the need for centralized video leadership and management has never been greater.

The Senior Video Lead will play a critical role in advancing PMG's One Video strategy, creating greater alignment across teams, strengthening marketplace relationships, and ensuring PMG presents a unified and strategic voice across the evolving video ecosystem.

This role sits at the intersection of marketplace strategy, video investment, client planning, and organizational collaboration. Working closely with PMG's Investment Leaders, Strategy, Analytics, and Client Leadership teams, the Senior Video Lead will help shape how PMG strategically plans, invests, negotiates, and activates across the video ecosystem, ultimately ensuring investments are approached holistically rather than through isolated channel decisions.

What You Will Do

  • Lead local video and audio planning, investment stewardship, and execution across local linear TV, local radio/audio, sponsorships, live sports, and emerging local media opportunities.
  • Manage multi-market campaigns from approved plans through placement, monitoring, final buy review, posting, billing reconciliation, discrepancy resolution, reporting, and cost analysis.
  • Develop market-level investment recommendations that account for audience needs, local inventory, pricing, timing, marketplace dynamics, reach, efficiency, and expected business outcomes.
  • Coordinate with account, strategy, analytics, operations, and local-market teams to keep timelines, deliverables, workflow expectations, and communication clear and on track.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with local media partners to support strong execution, market intelligence, pricing efficiency, inventory access, and value-added opportunities.
  • Support local sports and sponsorship initiatives, including planning, negotiation, trafficking coordination, delivery tracking, makegoods, discrepancy resolution, and post-buy evaluation.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Mediaocean local buying workflows and related Prisma enhancements, helping the team adopt new functionality and resolve workflow issues.
  • Provide guidance, training, and best-practice support to team members on local buying systems, workflow standards, QA routines, and campaign execution expectations.
  • Use delivery, posting, pacing, marketplace, and performance signals to identify optimization opportunities, surface risks, and recommend clear next steps.
  • Contribute to forecasting, budget tracking, reporting requests, and operational planning for local video and audio campaigns.
  • Identify emerging local media trends, partner opportunities, sports/sponsorship packages, and workflow improvements that can strengthen planning and execution.
  • Lead with PMG values by doing the right thing, being inclusive, staying agile, embracing challenges, and continually changing work for the better.
  • Responsibilities may extend across other media channels as needed to support broader campaign objectives and business priorities.

What You Will Bring

  • 8+ years of experience in local video, audio, media investment, planning, buying, or campaign operations, with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Deep hands-on experience managing local TV, radio/audio, or convergent video/audio campaigns across multiple markets.
  • Strong understanding of local audience dynamics, inventory types, pricing, partner relationships, sponsorship opportunities, market differences, and execution tradeoffs.
  • Current experience with Mediaocean local buying workflows; familiarity with Prisma enhancements, Nielsen or other local audience/viewership tools, and standard reporting or post-buy processes.
  • Proven ability to manage campaign execution details, including placements, pacing, makegoods, posting, billing, discrepancies, reconciliations, reporting, and cost analysis.
  • Strong negotiation and marketplace judgment, with the ability to evaluate local media opportunities, secure value, and maintain productive partner relationships.
  • Comfort turning data, delivery signals, and marketplace intelligence into clear recommendations for optimization and future planning.
  • Experience improving workflows, documenting best practices, training others, and helping teams adopt tools or process changes with consistency.
  • A commitment to curiosity and adaptability as a Continual Learner, staying at the forefront of media innovation while prioritizing client success with a Customer-Focused mindset that seeks opportunities to deliver meaningful value.
  • A dedication to People-Focused leadership, fostering collaboration, innovation, and professional growth by leading by example and nurturing strong relationships that empower others to excel.
