Technology Engineer

As a Technology Engineer within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA.PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position.
Preferred Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years hands-on development experience with IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE)
- Experience with implementing Web Services, REST, MQ, and File based interfaces
- Experience testing interfaces using tools like RFHUTIL, Postman, SOAPUI, and other testing tools
- Experience working with multiple data formats (JSON, XML, EDI/X12, Fixed Length/COBOL,SWIFT)
- Experience integrating with databases using ESQL, Java, Mapping Node, Database Nodes, and calling Stored Procedures
- Experience working on multiple operating systems (Windows, Unix, Linux, Mainframe)
- Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem resolution skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with peers, management, clients, and partners
- Excellent documentation and organizational skills
Preferred Experience:
- IBM ITX, Connect Direct experience is an added advantage.

Job Description
- Leverages technical knowledge and industry experience to design, build and maintain technology solutions. Assists with selecting appropriate platforms, integrates and configures solutions.
- Develops software components and hardware for new and emerging technology projects; aligns these with business strategies and objectives.
- May provide consultation on common issues and best practices for junior staff.
- Provides a systematic analysis on client requirements within the traceability framework and resolves any functional problems encountered.
- Ensures quality of project deliverables while maintaining compliance with relevant standards and processes.
