Join Pomerleau as a BIM/VDC Coordinator Intern within the Civil & Infrastructure Operations Innovation team and contribute to the digital transformation of infrastructure projects. You will support data analysis, digital model coordination, process automation, reality capture, and the deployment of innovative solutions. This is a unique opportunity to develop your expertise in VDC, BIM, data analytics, and construction technologies while contributing to large-scale projects that shape the future of our built environment.
What you will do
- Implement VDC processes and BIM technologies in ongoing projects.
- Collaborate with project teams for requirements analysis.
- Produce and coordinate 3D models using BIM software.
- Prepare and present project documentation and reports.
- Ensure compliance with VDC standards, staying updated on industry trends.
- Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with trade partners, consultants, and clients.
- Provide valuable assistance to the team, actively contributing to a collaborative office environment.
This role could be for you if you have
- Enrolled in a relevant degree program in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- Strong understanding of construction processes and terminology.
- Proficient in VDC tools, including BIM software.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and demonstrate versatility and curiosity.
