Purpose of Role

As an AI Developer, you will design, build and deploy AI-powered solutions that help customers streamline processes, improve productivity and unlock business value from Microsoft's AI ecosystem. Working closely with clients and internal teams, you will translate business requirements into practical automation and AI solutions, leveraging Copilot Studio, Power Platform and Microsoft 365 technologies. You will play a key role in helping organisations adopt AI securely, effectively and at scale.

Role & Responsibilities

• Work with customers to understand business processes, identify automation opportunities and define AI use cases that deliver measurable value;
• Design, develop and implement AI solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Platform and related Microsoft technologies;
• Build and maintain integrations with Microsoft 365 services, APIs, third-party applications and data sources to create seamless business workflows;
• Deploy, test and optimise Copilot agents and automations, ensuring solutions are secure, reliable and aligned with customer governance requirements;
• Collaborate with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, facilitating workshops, demonstrations and knowledge-sharing sessions;
• Produce technical documentation and provide ongoing guidance to customers and colleagues on AI capabilities, best practices and emerging technologies.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

• Hands-on experience developing solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio and the Microsoft Power Platform;
• Strong understanding of Power Automate, including workflow design, integrations, exception handling and process automation;
• Experience working with APIs, connectors, Dataverse, SharePoint and Microsoft 365 services;
• Knowledge of solution deployment, environment management and application lifecycle practices within the Power Platform ecosystem;
• Understanding of security, data governance, permissions models and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies;
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions;
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience presenting solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a passion for innovation and emerging AI technologies;
• Experience delivering AI, automation or digital transformation projects within a consultancy, MSP or customer-facing environment would be advantageous.
