The Role

TheTeam Lead, Enterprise Software Solutions will be the subject matter expert for enterprise licensing agreements, collaborate with regional sales teams on customer solutions, strengthen adoption and satisfaction, and mentor a team of Business Development Managers.

Key Responsibilities

• Set clear priorities and performance expectations for the Business Development Manager team, monitor progress against goals, and provide timely coaching and intervention when results are off track.
• Drive the area’s highest-priority strategic deals.
• Achieve assigned individual regional sales targets while holding the team accountable for collective goals, pipeline health, forecast accuracy, and execution.
• Resolve sales-cycle escalations and customer satisfaction issues across assigned regions.
• Develop and execute team sales plans that align territories, priorities, resources, and activities with targeted growth and financial outcomes.
• Partner with Presidio sales leaders to drive the education, behaviors, and outcomes required to achieve sales targets.
• Develop new and existing accounts by identifying opportunities for licensing, subscription, and consulting services related to collaboration, security, digital infrastructure, data center, and virtualization agreements.
• Increase client use of software and features through Presidio Adoption Services.
• Build account presence through proactive outreach to existing and prospective clients, independently and with Presidio Account Managers.
• Work with strategic vendors and sales leadership to expand opportunities in local markets.
• Educate account teams and vendors on Presidio’s software licensing and adoption capabilities.
• Develop strong technical and sales relationships with vendor partners and maintain a thorough understanding of partner status, funding, technical support, pricing, discount programs, procedures, and enablement resources.
• Keep management informed through weekly status reports and monthly and annual territory analyses.
• Monitor competitive and market developments, including pricing, products, services, and delivery schedules.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge through workshops, publications, professional networks, and industry associations.
• Maintain accurate area and customer sales records.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional and/or military experience; a degree in technology or business is preferred.
• Three to five or more years of software, infrastructure, or services sales experience.
• Solutions architecture or sales engineering experience is a plus.
• Proven success in customer satisfaction and sales achievement, including meeting or exceeding goals.
• Excellent prospecting, communication, negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a sales territory and build relationships with new and existing clients.
• Strong self-confidence, sales drive, product knowledge, and commitment to learning new solutions.
