Automation AI Engineer

At Pretius, we are looking for an Automation AI Engineer to design and deliver intelligent automation solutions that drive business efficiency and digital transformation. You'll combine software engineering, system integration, data processing and AI technologies to build end-to-end solutions using APIs, workflows, ETL pipelines and AI-powered agents, working closely with business and technical stakeholders to solve complex business challenges.

Project / Role

• Design, develop and maintain intelligent automation solutions using Python and/or C#.
• Build end-to-end automation workflows leveraging scripts, workflow orchestration, APIs and AI-powered agents.
• Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for automation and optimization.
• Develop integrations between enterprise applications using REST/SOAP APIs, webhooks, Microsoft Graph API and authentication mechanisms.
• Design and implement ETL pipelines and data processing solutions.
• Build AI assistants, copilots and autonomous agents using Large Language Models (LLMs) and modern AI frameworks.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Ensure solution quality, scalability, maintainability and security by following software engineering best practices.
• Drive innovation by introducing modern AI, automation and integration technologies across business processes.

Requirements

• Proven experience in software development using Python and/or C#.
• Hands-on experience delivering enterprise automation solutions from concept to production.
• Strong knowledge of API development and system integration (REST, SOAP, webhooks, Microsoft Graph API, OAuth).
• Experience working with structured and unstructured data as well as ETL or data processing workflows.
• Practical experience with one or more automation platforms, such as: Microsoft Power Platform / Power Automate, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Data Factory, Apache Airflow, UiPath, n8n, Zapier or Make
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure services and cloud-native development.
• Understanding of software engineering best practices, including Git, testing and CI/CD.
• Experience building AI-powered automations using Generative AI and Large Language Models.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills and a proactive, hands-on mindset.

Nice to have

• Experience with modern data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric or Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Knowledge of Data Engineering, ETL processes and Data Lake/Data Warehouse architectures.
• Hands-on experience with Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot Studio or Agentic AI frameworks (e.g. LangChain, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, RAG, vector databases).
• Experience in Business Analysis, enterprise system integrations or Finance/Tax Technology and ERP environments.
• Microsoft certifications related to Azure, AI, Data or Power Platform.
