Job Description

• We are seeking a skilled and hands-on Maintenance Technician Intern – Electrical or Mechanical to support landing craft (boats) maintenance operations.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining electrical orMechanical systems, troubleshooting faults, and ensuring the reliable operation of equipment to minimise downtime and support uninterrupted operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out routine preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical or mechanical systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical or mechanical faults in motors, pumps, fans, lighting systems, generators, etc and otherequipment mechanical parts.
• Inspect and maintain electrical panels, control circuits, wiring, and distribution boards and or all other reported faulty mechanical parts.
• Support the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems.
• Respond promptly tobreakdowns to minimise operation downtime.
• Monitor equipment performance and identify potential electricalor mechanical faults before they cause breakdowns.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, spare parts usage, and equipment faults.
• Ensure compliance with electrical and mechanical safety standards, company procedures, and housekeeping requirements.

Requirements

• OND, HND, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 1years’ relevant maintenance experience.
• Practical knowledge of electrical or mechanicalfault diagnosis.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical or mechanical faults and carry out preventive maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving skills and commitment to safety.
• Willingness to work on-site and respond to maintenance emergencies when required.
