CAD OPERATOR

This position is responsible to professionally draft engineering designs according to client specification and project time schedules to support the Engineers' design process

• To draft engineering designs using the appropriate software relevant to the required project specification.
• To ensure timeous updated / revised engineering designs in line with customer specifications.
• To design according to set specifications and standards to keep within required quality specifications.
• To compile, update and maintain the design documentation and design packs in line with the company process.  
• Conduct accuracy checks to ensure drawings meet specifications and design criteria.
• Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and related documents.

• Grade 12 (Matric) or NQF Level 4.
• Certification in CAD or draughting.

• 3-5 years Draughting experience in engineering environment.
• Knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems and their components.
• Knowledge of drawing procedures and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
