Business Analytics Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Analyse complex business and marketplace data to identify trends, opportunities, and performance gaps.
• Investigate the root cause behind business performance and explain the why using data.
• Analyse campaign, product, pricing, listing, sales, and customer performance.
• Identify inefficiencies in ad spend, conversion, pricing, and marketplace performance.
• Develop data-driven strategies to improve business and growth outcomes.
• Work closely with business, growth, product, and brand stakeholders to understand problems and provide actionable insights.
• Build analytical frameworks and conduct deep-dive analysis to solve business problems.
• Identify products, cities, campaigns, or customer segments driving growth or underperformance.
• Support experimentation and A/B testing by analysing results and deriving meaningful conclusions.
• Translate analytical findings into clear recommendations and communicate them effectively to stakeholders.
• Work independently on ambiguous business problems and take ownership from problem identification through recommendation.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in Business Analytics, Product Analytics, Growth Analytics, Decision Science, or related analytical roles.
• Strong proficiency in SQL.
• Strong proficiency in Excel.
• Good working knowledge of Python for data analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with large and complex datasets.
• Strong understanding of business metrics and performance drivers.
• Excellent business intuition with the ability to connect data insights to business outcomes.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to independently structure and solve ambiguous business problems.
