Job Description

Procter & Gamble (P&G) is one of the world’s largest advertisers, owning globally iconic brands such as Gillette, Pampers, Oral-B and Old Spice.

We are currently looking for Customs Expert - Classification & Origin Analyst.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Correctly apply customs classification of P&G products using the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) based on official rules and customs guidelines, with clear reasons for each classification.

  • Keep HTS classification data updated in P&G’s databases.

  • Prepare and submit requests for Customs rulings (BTI).

  • Work closely with Material Owners and R&D to understand product details for accurate HTS coding.

  • Coordinate with external customs service providers on classification matters.

  • Have basic knowledge of origin rules to answer related questions.

  • Help with audits of customs declarations and payments.

  • Stay informed on changes in customs rules and share important updates.

  • Serve as a contact point for customs-related issues in the business.

  • Assist in projects aimed at simplifying and digitizing customs processes.

Job Qualifications

  • Experience with HTS customs classification & origin.

  • Solid and practical knowledge of EU customs regulations for import and export

  • Proactive, detail-focused, and process-oriented mindset with strong attention to details.

  • Solution driven, open-minded approach; ability to work as a part of a team.

  • Skilled in MS Office and SAP.

  • Advanced English.
