Junior Solution Architect DACH

Your mission

As Junior Solution Architect you will work closely with customers and internal stakeholders and will report to your Solution Architect Team Lead. We are looking for someone who is passionate about hardware and software products, enjoys solving problems, and is excited to grow into a trusted technical advisor role. You will be working in an experienced Presales team and support sales in the deal process as well as linking ideas with our product and engineering team. You will have direct contact with customers and reselling partners to transfer knowledge and to help build and develop relationships and sales opportunities.

Your profile

We're looking for someone who brings:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Industrial/mechanical Engineering, Logistics Technology or comparable education or work experience
• Ability to communicate technical topics clearly to different audiences and eagerness to further develop this skill
• A broad interest in information technology topics, ideally in mobile solutions, enterprise software, warehousing, logistics or industrial environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and enjoyment of working in structured yet dynamic situations
• Proactiveness, curiosity, and motivation to learn from experienced colleagues and real customer scenarios
• Willingness to travel to customer sites, partner locations and company events
• Business fluency in German and English; additional languages are a plus

Nice-to-Have

• Initial professional experience, internships, or academic project exposure in pre-sales, solution engineering, technical consulting, IT systems, or software/hardware environmentsI
• Experience in an logistics or industrial work environment
• Basic scripting or programming experience (e.g. Python, JavaScript, SQL) is a plus.

What success looks like

In your first 12 months you will:

Support customer success

• Participate in customer workshops, discovery sessions and technical discussions
• Help understand customer processes, technical environments and business challenges
• Support product demonstrations, onboarding activities and technical training
• Assist with Proof of Concepts, pilots and customer rollouts
• Build trusted relationships through responsiveness and a strong customer-first mindset

Contribute to solution design

• Support the design of scalable customer solutions
• Prepare demo environments and technical documentation
• Help validate customer environments and implementation requirements
• Assist with technical troubleshooting alongside senior colleagues
• Document learnings and contribute to best practices

Collaborate across teams

• Work closely with Sales, Product Management, Customer Success and Engineering
• Translate customer needs into clear technical requirements
• Share customer feedback to help improve our products
• Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and continuous improvement

Grow every day

As you develop your technical and customer-facing skills, you will gradually take ownership of more complex solution design and customer engagements, with the opportunity to grow into a Solution Architect role.

Meet your team

You’ll join our experienced Presales team and work closely with Solution Architects who will help you build your technical and customer-facing skills. Together, you’ll support Sales in customer conversations, demonstrations and solution design. You’ll also collaborate with Product, Engineering and Customer Success to turn customer needs into solutions that work in practice.
