Lead Infrastructure Engineer (DevOps)
We are looking for a skilled Lead Infrastructure Engineer to join our Technology team at Clarivate. In this role, you will administer, automate, and troubleshoot large-scale Linux and Kubernetes environments while contributing to infrastructure reliability, operational tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and production incident resolution.
You will work in a complex production environment and collaborate with engineering, DevOps, security, networking, storage, and operations teams to deliver scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure solutions.
About You - experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
6 Years of strong experience administering Linux/Unix environments (RHEL, CentOS, Oracle Linux).
Hands-on expertise with Python and Bash scripting for automation and operational tooling.
Experience managing and troubleshooting production Kubernetes and container platforms.
Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices, including Jenkins, GitHub, and GitLab.
Understanding of networking, security, storage, compute, and infrastructure architecture.
Proven experience in incident management, root cause analysis, and production troubleshooting.
It Would Be Great If You Also Had
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
Strong understanding of Git workflows, branching strategies, and version control best practices.
Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.
Knowledge of virtualization technologies including VMware vSphere and KVM.
Experience with HashiCorp Vault and enterprise secrets management practices.
Exposure to large-scale, highly available, enterprise production environments.
What You Will Be Doing in This Role
Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux systems across production environments.
Develop automation solutions using Python and Bash to improve operational efficiency.
Manage Kubernetes clusters, container platforms, and application deployments.
Design, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines and release automation processes.
Lead production incident resolution, root cause analysis, and service recovery activities.
Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance infrastructure reliability, scalability, and security.
