Test Automation Engineer - AI-Powered Quality Engineering

We’re seeking a highly skilled, execution-focused Test Automation Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join our team. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in test automation, API testing, and modern quality engineering practices, along with the ability to leverage AI and GenAI tools to improve testing efficiency and coverage.

You’ll be working in a fast-paced, high-impact engineering environment where product quality, reliability, and speed of delivery are critical. Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for web applications, APIs, and enterprise systems.
• Build and enhance reusable, scalable test automation frameworks.
• Execute automated functional, regression, integration, API, and end-to-end testing.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and faster releases.
• Use AI agents and GenAI tools to generate test cases, test scripts, test scenarios, and test data.
• Review, validate, and refine AI-generated testing artifacts to ensure accuracy, coverage, and reliability.
• Collaborate with developers, product teams, and stakeholders to understand requirements and define effective test strategies.
• Review requirements and acceptance criteria to ensure complete and testable coverage.
• Identify, document, track, and validate defects throughout the development lifecycle.
• Monitor test results, identify quality risks, and proactively improve test coverage and engineering practices.
• Evaluate emerging automation and AI-powered testing tools and contribute to continuous improvement of quality engineering practices.
• Design and execute performance, load, and stress testing where required.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in software testing and test automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, TestNG, or JUnit.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or C#.
• Strong experience with API testing using tools/frameworks such as REST Assured, Bruno, Swagger, OpenAPI, or similar.
• Proven experience in designing, building, or maintaining test automation frameworks.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and workflows such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
• Hands-on experience using AI/GenAI tools or AI-powered testing platforms for test generation, automation, or quality engineering.
• Strong understanding of software testing fundamentals, test design, defect lifecycle, and quality assurance practices.
• Ability to identify edge cases, troubleshoot issues, and independently drive testing activities.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
