Billing Specialist – Railcar Repair
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Prepares, reviews, and processes customer invoices for railcar cleaning, maintenance, and repair services.
Ensures all completed railcar repair work orders are accurately billed according to customer contracts, approved rates, labor, materials, and services performed.
Reviews work orders, service records, and supporting documentation to verify billing accuracy and completeness.
Work directly with the designated repair locations to resolve incomplete, conflicting, or inaccurate BRC information. Maintains accurate billing records, customer accounts, and supporting documentation.
Communicates with customers regarding invoice questions, billing discrepancies, and payment status.
Processes billing adjustments, credits, and corrections as needed.
Assists with tracking outstanding invoices, reconciling billing records, and preparing billing reports.
Ensures invoices are processed accurately and in a timely manner while following company procedures and customer billing requirements.
Completes any other duties that may be assigned to complete the job.
