Job Role:
Creo Elements/Direct is a comprehensive system for mechanical engineers and designers who create products using the direct modeling approach to 3D CAD. The software allows you to quickly and easily create one-off designs and radically repurpose existing designs to shorten time to market. It gives you strong multi-CAD collaboration capabilities so reusing 2D designs or working with designs from other CAD systems is seamless.
Day to Day Activities:
- Grasping the architecture of the product. Learn different modules in it which are written in different programming languages and gradually start taking ownership of the modules.
- Implement new features and resolve customer requested enhancements and issues per organization guidelines.
- Participate in Agile methodologies to deliver high-quality software releases.
- Develop iterative prototypes when appropriate.
- Write well documented and performing code including source code documentation that meets organizational standards.
- Run/develop unit tests and work with QA for automated tests.
- Attend daily stand-up to stay agile, share ideas, give feedback, and stay on track.

Must have Skills:
- Good software engineering skills
- 3-6 years of software product development experience
- Bachelors/Master degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Good knowledge in C, C++, OOPs concepts, data-structures and algorithms
- Strong logical and analytical abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work both in a team environment and independently.
- Working knowledge on PLM software like Windchill will be added advantage.
- Exposure on CI/CD pipeline and GIT version control.
