Overview
Engineering Manager - Full Stack
As a Manager, Full Stack Software Engineering and AI, you will lead the design and delivery of modern, cloud-native and AI-enabled digital products for our clients.
You will combine strong technical expertise with people leadership, guiding multidisciplinary engineering teams while remaining closely connected to architecture, system design, engineering quality and complex technical problem-solving.
Working with product leaders, architects, experience teams, AI specialists and client stakeholders, you will translate business needs into scalable, secure and impactful technology solutions.
Your Impact
- Lead the architecture and delivery of large-scale, cloud-native and AI-enabled applications.
- Manage, coach and develop high-performing software engineering teams.
- Provide technical leadership across backend, frontend, cloud, APIs and integration architecture.
- Guide teams working with .NET/C#, Java, Python, Node.js, React and TypeScript.
- Design scalable solutions using microservices, APIs, distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
- Integrate generative AI, large language models and intelligent automation into enterprise products and workflows.
- Establish engineering standards across code quality, security, automated testing, observability and CI/CD.
- Partner with technical and non-technical stakeholders to communicate architecture decisions, trade-offs and delivery risks.
- Promote responsible AI practices addressing security, privacy, accuracy, bias and human oversight.
Qualifications
- Strong full-stack software engineering experience, with technical depth in one or more of .NET/C#, Java, Python or Node.js.
- Experience developing modern frontend applications using React, TypeScript and JavaScript.
- Proven experience leading and developing engineers as an Engineering Manager, Software Development Manager, Technical Lead or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of cloud-native architecture, microservices, APIs, Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD.
- Experience designing and delivering scalable, reliable and secure enterprise applications.
- Experience integrating AI, machine learning or generative AI capabilities into digital products.
- Familiarity with large language models, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, embeddings or vector search.
- Strong communication and client-facing stakeholder-management skills.
Cloud and AI Experience
Experience designing and deploying applications on Google Cloud Platform is strongly preferred, including services such as Google Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL and Vertex AI.
Experience with Gemini, BigQuery, Document AI or other enterprise AI platforms is highly desirable. Strong AWS or Azure experience may also be considered where candidates demonstrate transferable cloud and AI engineering expertise.

- Experience moving generative AI solutions from proof of concept into secure, scalable production environments.
- Knowledge of RAG, semantic search, AI agents or intelligent workflow automation.
- Experience with Kafka, Terraform, distributed systems or platform modernization.
- Experience leading global engineering teams in a consulting or client-facing environment.
- Relevant Google Cloud, AI, Kubernetes or software architecture certifications.

Pay Range: $130,000-$180,000
The range shown represents a grouping of relevant ranges currently in use at Publicis Sapient. Actual range for this position may differ, depending on location and specific skillset required for the work.
