Overview

As Senior Associate, AI Strategy, you will build and ship AI agent and skill systems on the platform, turning well-defined business processes into reliable, production-ready AI engineering components. You will work hands-on alongside senior engineers and cross-functional partners, contributing to the design, development, and delivery of AI-native systems while growing your expertise in the technical standards the broader organization builds against.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the technical design and implementation of vertical-specific AI systems, translating well-scoped requirements into working AI workflows, model integrations, and new engineering components.
• Build and deliver AI-native platform capabilities, including agent orchestration logic, retrieval pipelines, and evaluation and monitoring tooling, under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Implement and extend existing engineering capabilities, and prototype targeted solutions to client and platform problems with support from technical leads.
• Collaborate with Product, Data Science, and Delivery teams to clarify requirements, estimate effort, and deliver against agreed priorities.
• Support technical demos and proof-of-concept work, preparing and presenting components of the solution to internal stakeholders and, where appropriate, clients.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle for AI systems, from prototyping and implementation through testing, deployment, and iteration.
• Provide feedback on engineering feasibility and trade-offs to technical leads to inform platform roadmap decisions.
• Surface recurring technical issues and improvement ideas from day-to-day delivery work to help guide platform enhancements.
• Participate actively in code reviews, pair programming, and collaborating with peers, and support onboarding of new team members.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize AI/ML components and pipelines to improve performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Contribute to internal documentation, enablement materials, and technical write-ups that help teams build and explain AI solutions.

Qualifications

Skills & Experience

• 2-3+ years of professional software engineering experience, with demonstrated hands-on exposure to AI/ML systems (LLMs, agents, RAG, or applied AI applications).
• Experience contributing to the development and deployment of AI-powered features or services, in a production or near-production setting.
• Proficiency in Python and working familiarity with at least one additional language such as Java or TypeScript, plus hands-on experience with frameworks relevant to AI engineering (LangChain, LlamaIndex, PyTorch, or similar).
• Working experience with at least one cloud environment (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and familiarity with modern data/ML tooling.
• Good understanding of software design principles, algorithms, and data structures, with a foundational awareness of distributed systems.
• Familiarity with engineering protocols: version control, automated testing, CI/CD, and basic observability.
• Ability to understand business or client requirements and translate them into well-structured technical implementations with guidance.
• Experience working effectively within a collaborative engineering team, including in co-located or virtual settings.
• Clear communication skills, able to explain technical work to peers, technical leads, and non-technical stakeholders.

Set Yourself Apart

• Exposure to AI agent frameworks, tool/skill orchestration, or multi-agent patterns through work, academic, or personal projects.
• Hands-on experience with vector databases, embeddings, or retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines.
• Familiarity with LLM evaluation, prompt engineering, or fine-tuning techniques.
• Working knowledge of microservices and containerization (Docker; Kubernetes a plus).
• Interest in or exposure to marketing technology, media data, or adjacent verticals.
• Contributions to open-source AI/ML projects, hackathons, or a visible portfolio of personal AI projects.
• Experience supporting technical demos or proof-of-concept work for internal or client audiences.

Compensation Range: USD $73,150.00 - USD $112,554.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met.
