Job Description

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Receive and count stock items, and record data manually or using computer

• Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors

• Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in receiving area

• Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment

• Clean and maintainsupplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order toensure compliance with safety regulations

• Determineproper storage methods, identification, and stock location

• Keep records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment

• Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors

• Transfer of damaged or defective items or return them to designateareas

Required Skills, Education, Experience:

• Drive forklift in order topick up incoming stock or to deliver parts to designatedlocations

• Maintain records of inventories, shortages, shipments and good used or issued

• Issue or distribute materials, products, parts, and supplies to customers or coworkers, based on information from incoming requisitions

• Confer with engineering and purchasingpersonnel and vendors regardingstock procurement and availability

• High school diploma or equivalentpreferred

• Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a warehouse environment.

Physical Requirements

Physical activities may occasionally include:

• Remainingin stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods of time.

• Adjusting or moving objects up to 15 pounds in all directions.

Physical activities may constantly include:

• Communicating with others to exchange information.

• Repetitive motions that may include the wrists, handsand/or fingers.

• Assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of work assigned.

Environmental Conditions may occasionally include:

• Noisy open office environment

Work Hours (Good Faith Estimate):

This full-time position is expected to work approximately 30-40 hours per week. This is a good faith estimate, and actual hours may vary based on business needs.
