Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable backend services using Node.js (NestJS/Express) and Golang, following microservices and API best practices.
  • Build high-throughput, event-driven systems using Kafka and Redis, implementing resilience patterns such as circuit breakers, health checks, and fallback mechanisms.
  • Own data and performance optimisation across MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis, ensuring efficient queries, schemas, scalability, and low-latency performance.
  • Drive end-to-end production delivery from technical design/RFCs to Docker/Kubernetes deployment on GCP/AWS, with strong CI/CD, monitoring, logging, and observability.
  • Leverage AI-native engineering practices using Cursor, Claude, and GitHub Copilot while collaborating with Product, Frontend, Data, and DevOps teams and mentoring engineers.
