You're at the beginning of your career and want more than one role or one department. You want to understand how an international business works, make an impact and grow into a leadership position.
The Young Graduate Program is a two-year journey developed by Q8 in partnership with Ormit Talent, a specialist in developing young professionals into future leaders. While you gain hands-on experience at Q8 through strategic projects and rotations across different business areas, Ormit Talent supports your growth with personal coaching, leadership training and a tailored development program.
Together, you'll build a strong foundation for your career, accelerate your development and prepare for your next step as a future leader within Q8.
What you will do
Over the course of two years, you'll complete three assignments of eight months each. Every assignment brings new challenges, broader responsibilities and a deeper understanding of the business.
Discover the business
You start in your mentor's department and learn how Q8 operates. You'll gain insight into the business model, key stakeholders and commercial ecosystem while building a strong internal network.
Drive improvement
In your second assignment, you join a new department where you'll contribute from day one. You analyse opportunities, improve processes and bring fresh perspectives to business challenges. Your ideas help shape meaningful change.
Lead transformation
Your final assignment focuses on a strategic transformation project. You'll work with different stakeholders, build support for change and take ownership of initiatives that move the business forward. Along the way, you'll develop the leadership skills needed for your next career step.
Throughout the program, you'll gain experience across different parts of the business.
Commercial & Innovation
Discover where Q8 connects with its customers. You'll gain experience in sales, marketing, retail operations and partnerships with brands such as Delhaize, Starbucks and Panos. You'll learn how Q8 creates a strong customer experience and continues to grow its retail network.
Finance & Procurement
Understand how financial insights and procurement decisions drive business performance. You'll discover how investment decisions are made and how they support Q8's long-term strategy.
Transformation & Technology
Help shape the future of Q8. You'll contribute to digital transformation, technology initiatives and projects that support the transition towards smarter mobility and sustainable energy solutions.
By the end of the program, you'll understand the business from multiple perspectives and have contributed to projects that make a real impact.
This is you
You recently graduated with a Bachelor's or Master's degree, or you will graduate this academic year. This opportunity is designed for recent graduates and young professionals with up to two years of relevant work experience.
You are legally authorized to work in Belgium or the Netherlands and hold a valid residence permit or have an unrestricted right to work in the country where you apply.
You are fluent in Dutch and English.
You are curious and enjoy looking beyond a single area of expertise.
You think analytically and feel comfortable in a digital environment.
You take initiative and enjoy solving complex challenges.You thrive in an environment where you take ownership, keep learning and collaborate with colleagues across different disciplines.
