Qantas (ASX: QAN) is the flag carrier airline of Australia and one of the world's oldest continually operating aviation groups, headquartered in Mascot, Sydney. Founded in 1920 as Queensland and Northern Territory Aerial Services Limited (QANTAS), the enterprise has grown into Australia's largest domestic and international airline group. The company operates a dual-brand strategy serving two primary customer segments: full-service domestic, international, and regional operations under the core Qantas brand (including QantasLink), and low-cost carrier operations under Jetstar.

Building on more than 100 years of history and experience, QantasLink is a consolidated network of regional airlines that connects passengers and communities across Australia. QantasLink is made up of four subsidiary organisations - Eastern Airlines, Sunstate Airlines, National Jet Systems and Network Aviation. Operating as an end-to-end airline, QantasLink harnesses the strength of its regional partnerships and a strong sense of family, to provide meaningful career paths for its more than 2,500 people with opportunities that might take you to exciting destinations across QantasLink or the Qantas Group.

  • Permanent full-time opportunity based at BNE Airport supporting the QantasLink network.
  • Be at the heart of airport operations, driving safe, efficient and on-time aircraft turnarounds across a dynamic environment.
  • Make a real impact through coaching, oversight and continuous improvement.

As a Regional Oversight Coordinator, you will provide operational oversight, governance and real-time coordination of aircraft turnaround activities across the airport environment. Acting as the eyes and ears on the ground, you'll monitor turnaround performance, ensure compliance with regulatory and operational standards, identify risks and improvement opportunities, and provide coaching and guidance to support safe and efficient operations.

This role is primarily operational, with administration, reporting and continuous improvement activities. You'll maintain frontline operational readiness and may be called upon to support operational requirements during disruptions, peak periods or resource constraints, helping to deliver safe, compliant and on-time outcomes across the network.

You'll Have:

  • 3-5 years' experience within airline, airport or ground handling operations.
  • Demonstrated experience in aircraft turnaround, ramp operations or airport operational environments.
  • Strong understanding of aircraft turnaround processes and broader airport operations.
  • Sound knowledge of CASA regulations, aviation safety management systems and operational standards.
  • Proven understanding of ramp safety, loading and unloading requirements, and ground handling practices.
  • Strong observational, problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Ability to coach, influence and drive positive outcomes across stakeholders without direct authority.
